Lots Of German Study

How is it goin meine Freunde?

 

 

So not the most eventful week. But there where some fun learning experiences.

Monday: we had zone p-day and we did volleyball, now I'm not good at volleyball at all. But they don't know that so I faked it till I made it. I came to realize that when your 6'3'' and 4" taller than everyone else it gets pretty easy. At one point I spiked it into my zone leaders face (on accident of course) but it was hard, and the best part was the other team still played it. That night we had exchanges again. So I when back to Morris with another German speaking missionary. 

      

 

Tusedsy: so I was on exchange, livin' the life and a service opportunity came up, so like any rational missionary we went to help out. We got there and they had to take up a water heater, which for one of my size and stature is no problem ( I'm just kidding, but it was super easy for me) my companion had a harder time helping it up the stairs. But the home owners where super cool and they had a home theater with a big popcorn machine and old gun store display cases for their candies. It was super cool. Out of all the candy there I settled with dots. Now I know this is a controversial topic but I love dots and I think they are top tier, and so does my mom so it's all OK because I got brownie points for that. We also had a super good 1 hour long German study so that was sick. 

 

 

Wednesday: I had District council and talked about why we weren't having any success lately. I got a ruben from Arby's. Another controversial topic, but Rubens are litirally the best sandwich of all time. Not the Arby's one but any other way Ruben. 

 

 

Thursday: sucky day. All our lessons canceled. We then went to a member home and get dinner but it wasn't very good. 

 

 

Friday: we got a new person finally. We also dropped of a Bible and made a learn how to stop smoking ad. That was litirally all that happened. I mean we did fa ebook finding and other ways of finding but they didn't work. 

 

 

Sauterday: awesome day, we hosted an Easter event and it was fun, only 2 non member family showed up but it was super fun. We had a 3 hour lesson... It was litirally needed, the person had some substance abuse and we where teaching about it and made a plan for them. 

 

 

Sunday: we had church, thank goodness. We fasted 24 hours which isn't bad and we saw some results as a zone with that. I found a guy on face book and he instantly called me (not good) he wanted to talk and shared about his coming to belive in God and christ. Then he said he was a pastor and he said he preformed miricales by making people's legs grow longer it gets better, he had videos about it and the people litirally just point and flex their toes. I think it's the funniest thing Ive seen so far. The best part is that he gave a long rant about how bad false prophets are and my companion and I where trying not to die laughing out loud. After the call ended I did die laughing. 

 

 

It was a good week at the end. We are finally starting to get some people to teach and get some progress which is super good. 

 

 

I'm so happy for the ability I have to have the atonement in my life. To be forgiving of my mistakes and try again and again, over and over again is such a blessing to me. I know my redeemer live and. I am so happy I have the opportunity to serve where ever for 2 years. I love the gospel and the lord and I am so happy I get to experience life and joy on the earth.
