Casual News On Germany

Hallo alle, so yeah I'm in Germany now. It super cool I guess, I'm not a big city person so I like it but I'd rather be in the countryside in some dwarf town but I'll take what I can get

Monday: oh boy so for pday ( still in Croatia at this point) we went to a cool national park and the water was super clean and blue. That was really all that happened.

Tuesday: laundry sucks. We waited in a laundroMat for 2+ hours just sitting there, no finding, no internet for tracing, nothing. When we were watching the chosen I fell asleep and was abruptly woken up by a pillow to the face by my companion, I laughed it off. I was so delirious that I didn't even realise what had happened until long after the event.

Wednesday: 6 month mark whoop whoop. So yeah I didn't know that it went this fast but it does. Most of the missionaries are leaving tomorrow for alpine Germany, I'm still gonna be here for another day.

Thursday: this was a good day. In my German class we had a fun activity and afterwards we sang to our teacher God be with you until we meet again but in German. That evening a few of the missionaries and I went up to the balcony and  played the ukulele and we sang some hymns and other songs. It was a good Farewell memory.

Friday: I woke up early to say goodbye to all my friends who were leaving early but things got nust and I wasn't able to really say goodbye so that sucked but oh well. Getting to Germany was a breeze, that night we had some street contact and my very first experience with a german was a drunk homeless dude yelling at us haha. My companion is named elder white, he's cool. The area I am serving in is Hannheim which is close to Heidelberg.

Saturday: we said bye to everyone and left for Mannheim, we rode a bahn to Mannheim, I loved it. I love trains and knowing that I do that a lot here makes me happy. We got groceries. We were walking to the church and I talked to this guy. I didn't understand much but it led to us placing a book of mormon.

Sunday: not much to say about this day, we had German church and I understood a fair bit of it. I  got to take das Abendmahl ( sacrament) which is always good.

Monday: so not the best day ever but a day nonetheless. We did some Straße kontaktieren and I sadly ignored a prompting and I regretted it too. I tried to talk to people but I found it to be extremely difficult.

Tuesday: we had 2 lessons and I didn't understand a thing in either of them. Ok so I understood a little bit but not anything or enough to actually participate. I did get us back to the appt. Without directions, I am glad I have a good sense of direction. I am seeing that my German is getting better.

Wednesday: we and district counsel but it was weird an not very useful or productive. When we left it was 16:00!!! We hadn't eaten "lunch" or had German study so that day was trashed on hard. Also I played chess Sa ginst myself and tried to win on both sides… It was hard but I won.
