Meals And Lessons Not Learned

Hey everyone, I hope all is well. Let's jump right into it. 

 

 

Thursday: we went to the Heidelberg castle and walked stair mountain to get there but that was fine. I decided to run up them until my vision started to fade so then I stopped. 

 

 

Friday: we had a member meal. I seem to never learn my lesson, but on your mission, the faster you eat the more you have to eat. I had to eat 3 dishes full of pasta and I almost died.

 

 

Saturday: transfer call day. I am staying in Mannheim thank goodness. We talked with a german philosopher about society for a short time of 2 and a half hours. I found a guy in the street ( in the park) and I understood all of it. We are gonna meet with him on Saturday next week. 

 

 

Sunday: I got to take the sacrament and I also helped a guy move so that was cool. We had to get a 1000lb bike down a truck but it was too steep so it took an eternity. 

 

 

Monday: We had another member meal. I still didn't learn my lesson and had… well we will just say I had too much to eat… and they don't have any leftovers.

 

 

Tuesday: We had 3 lessons today. It was a role play I did all alone and it went really well. Another was with a member and I also ate too much food. And one was with our friend who is now on date to be baptized. 

 

 

Wednesday: ok so there is a story to this.

1st. Germany has a 2 cent coin and it has a little ridge on the side and I like it so I collect them

2nd. I ask people in the district for them as trade deals because stores won't take them. So we were at district council and I had a deal lined up for 5 of them. They showed up with a bag full of them. It was 8.60€ worth. 

3rd. I paid them 10€ for them and then counted them and saw I was short. I didn't care but I messaged them as a joke. 

 

 

OK here is where the fun part happens. We checked the mail, and there is a letter for me…hmm I never get mail also because my name isn't on the mailbox. So I opened it and it's a 2€ coin!! It was so funny to us because we know exactly why it was there.
