New Week Same Job

Hallo alle, I hope all is well in the world. German has really been different this week. 

 

 

Thursday: our church building has a drum set so I jammed all day on that bad boy. I didn't talk to anyone for street contacting because I wimped out. 

 

 

Friday: we had a member meal and it was good, I was totally lost on the conversation but this is ok. 

 

 

Saturday:  we had a service project and it was way hard, we moved heavy boxes up and down like 5 floors and I was way sore afterwards. I ended up talking to someone today so that was good. 

 

 

Sunday:

I got to partake of the sacrament, the reason I always put it in my emails is because it means so much to me, I know the importance of it and it is something I am happy to put in my emails. We had a lesson in English (thank goodness) and she wants to be BAPTISED so that rocks. 

 

 

Monday: exchanges! I went to Heidelberg, it was super pretty but I don't like the elders too much so I didn't really end up liking the exchange so much. 

 

 

Tuesday: another exchange! I was back in Mannheim and we went out to street contact and it rained… like there was thunder and lightning out and I and my temporary companion stayed out and talked to people. He liked the rain and I'm from Washington so… 

 

 

Wednesday: we had a goal of 20 contacts on the street but we only got 9 of them and got rejected on all of them but it's not a problem because we got some practice in. Also the funniest thing happened!! We were on the zug( Street Tram) and a kid was walking on the sidewalk and he was bouncing a soccer ball, then he looked at the zug we were on and hucked that ball against the side of the zug and it was sooo funny to us. We made eye contact with him afterwards and it was way too funny. 

 

 

Well that's all I have for you so hope you enjoy it, I'll write again next week. Also spiel shout out to all the new upcoming missionaries in the southward ward! You guys and gals rock. I'm super excited and proud of that. Go Southworth ward. Also our ward is way massive.
