The Day The Mission Died

Hey everyone, I hope all is well. It's been a very interesting week. Everyone besides a few got vaccinated so that lead to some fun stuff. Let's jump right in shall we? 

 

 

Thursday: we went painting with a professional artist and that was way cool. I painted the only thing I know how to do, which is Washington, not that there is anything better to paint. 

 

 

Friday: super slow day, we really didn't do much this day. It was super lame sauce. I found that the key to a great day is a great attitude. I had a moment of reflection about my past and about the joy I feel here on my mission. I am free. I am free from he past and I can finally go up again. 

 

 

Sauterday: we went to an area called weinheim to do some stop bys so that was fun. It's super pretty and it's like the rich area. There is also a castle there. We also visited Wasserturm which is a big water tower but was fancy and we got some fun pictures there. It was also a big day of not being able to put into words my love and gratitude for the savior. 

 

 

Sunday: I missed my favorite day of the year. Here is just another day. I had interviews with my mission president and his wife. I tried something new today which was instead of just being there, I tried complimenting people and tried to reach out and be nice, not a bystander. I felt great about it. 

 

 

Monday: this was a fun day because we had mission conference, so I saw some people from Croatia and met some new people. Everyone who hasn't fully vaccinated got the second shot and that was cool, that was our whole day. 

 

 

Tuesday: the only thing I can say is that I would make a great nurse because I had to take care of my companion because he has some nasty side effects from his covid shot. 

 

 

Wednesday: we wrote blogs today for our website, I wrote mine about my school experience and hardships with my faith. I also wrote about the immense joy of forgiveness. 

 

 

It was a long and boring week with not much happening. I am gonna do my best for you all to make next week a little more interesting.
