Euskirchen Dienen

Hey everyone, sorry for no emalin last week. I was gone for the week doing flood water clean up watch was such an amazing experience. 

Thursday: we played a game called chair soccer which was very different but super fun. I bought the district Döner which is always a good thing. I finally got a good musical jam session. 

Friday: I'm legal! I went and got my visa stuff taken care of. We met with a member who gave me a German course. 

Saturday: it was a lame day and not much happened

Sunday: day one is Euskirchen. We took a 2 hour train ride to get there but the whole train was full so we had to stand in between the carts. We had dinner and then we had an evening devotional and that was super fun.

Monday: we went into the service area and started to get to work. We did a simple clean out project of a house that went super fast. We took out the floor of another house and had lunch. We then went and peeled wallpaper and took out another floor. 

Tuesday: I spent the first half of the day weeding in a lady's garden. The second half of the day I peeled off more wallpaper. 

Wednesday: power tools!!! We used Jack hammers and took out walls and that was so fun. We had a little German boy who followed us around and we also played soccer with him after our service work. I also found a frog

Thursday: we finished up the project from yesterday and we made a stupid decision to take a 60lbs jackhammer that was meant for floors and used it on the walls. Then we worked in a room that had a dehumidifier and so we were so sweaty. 

Friday: we did some for wall demolition and I played the ukulele for the whole service group so that was super super fun. 

Saturday: we did our last day of service and it was so fun. We worked on the same super hot house and afterwards we went and worked on another house and finished that house up to. I also learned how to play spikeball. 

Sundy: we had a small sacrament meeting and afterwards the members fed us a super good meal. The APs drove us to Frankfurt and from there we caught a train to Mannheim, when we got home it was like 11:00pm

Monday: I had an exchange with one of the worms elders which was fun. We had a super productive day, we placed an Arabic book of mormon and also one person said that he would come to church and also 4

TTI´s. 

Tuesday: we finished our exchange and switched back and elder white and I did some online work for the rest of the day. 

Wednesday: one of the sisters in our district went home so we went and said goodbye. Later that day we had district counsel. Elder white was sick so he slept the rest of the day and I just worked on other stuff.
