The Rain Is My Friend
Hey, it was a good week, let's jump right into it.
Thursday: lame day, we didn't do anything this day so I played the drums and did my normal thing. On the way to our apartment a guy slammed his fist against the window I was looking out of, so that was fun.
Friday: we started another exchange but this was with the zone leaders, it was pretty fun, we got like 9 TTI's (teach, Testify, invite's). We also visited a member and he bought us ice cream and as a Degarimore I can't not love ice cream so I enjoyed it.
Saturday: we went and played basketball for morgen sport (morning exercise) and the court we played at had a 8ft hoop so we just dunked the whole time haha. We exchanged back and went on with our day.
Sunday: we had one of our friends come to church which was great and we also had a surprise friend come to church... A do not contact so that was fun. He is super nice and I talked with him on my own for about 10+ minutes.
Monday: we had a massive thunderstorm and it was raining way hard, me as a Washingtonian, did not bring an umbrella (they are not needed) and got soaked but I loved every second of it. We ate with a member and this time I had to go fast, it was pasta so the slower you go the harder it is to finish, and he said we had to finish it all. I almost exploded, then he brought out dessert. I almost died.
Tuesday: we met with one of our friends and talked about the 80's haha and also how to properly vacation in the US. We also talked about retro video games and stuff and how far technology had come since the 80's and before that. We also talked about family history, don't worry we talked about some Important things.
Wednesday: I had a lesson and I drew out the plan of salvation, it is my all time favorite part of the truth is the plan of happiness. It means I can see my family, my close friends and those who have been lost and I can have eternal joy and see that my friends on the earth who reject truth now can still have hope.
It's been a really fun week, I hope everyone is doing well, have an epic week my friends and family. Peace out.
