Rough Events
Hey I know that it's been a while, but i'm back and i'm ready to hit the ground running. I have good news and I have bad news.
Bad news: I won't be doing a whole lot of recap of what I missed
Good news: I have pictures though
Recap: well Christmas happened and that was so fun, we had a lot of appointments. We got to watch a movie and I got some fun gifts. I got transferred, I am now in a new area called Herne. It's more northern and the best Part is I'm even closer to heaven (the Netherlands). Maggie is home and I got to watch her come home and it made me so happy.
Friday: well we are super dumb, we were on or way to a member appointment for New years and I though t would be fun to jump in the elevator, any of my past companions know that I enjoy doing that as a joke. Well I Ended up setting up the seismic lock and we got stuck in the elevator.
Saturday: we had our first district counsel of the transfer in Essen. It was fun, it was really good, it looks like our goal is to really help the ward strengthen and Support themselves.
Sunday: I went to church and got the sacrament and the 2nd best Art is that I got to see briefly my German Trainer and one of my homies elder white!!.
Monday: we missed every Single train and none of our trains got to the destination on time and we never caught out connecting trains. I also got super sick and it ended up being a pretty rough day but that's ok. I'm already looking back and thinking how funny it is.
Tuesday: I was so so so sick and I really couldn't do a whole lot of work sadly. I spent the day in Essen because elder urban was sent to Frankfurt to get his 3rd booster shot.
Wednesday: well I was still super sick and my companion got sick from the vaccine. We delivered a book of mormon and the guy was super nice, he was very hopeful and happy to have received the book of mormon.
Spiritual: I was just thinking a lot lately about why we are having such a rough week, but I realise that there is no point in saying how bad the Situation is. I started to be more optimistic and when we had missed all of our trains and had to wait an hour for the next one to come I looked up at the sky and saw that It was all Grey and gloomy but right in the middle was a small Patch of blue sky. When all of your day, week, or life seems Grey and mega lamesauce, just remember that the small blue sky is there and it is always more beneficial and gives more joy then the Grey will ever give you.
I love you all so so much and it has been hard to really feel happy all the time and difficult to find joy but I have been working so hard to think of others and forget my own problems. You all Rock the house.
